Resolute Island Outpost 30 miles south of Smith Camps

As a family owned and operated camp, we have watched our own families and those of our returning guests grow over the years.

Resolute Island Outpost is a secluded paradise, located 30 miles south of our main camp on Lake of the Woods. With only one distant neighbour, the island is private, quiet, and makes for a great place for a wilderness off grid experience. Fish for walleye, northern pike, bass, musky, and perch. Many prize muskies have been caught right off the dock!

The rustic cabin sleeps 6 people comfortably, has propane appliances, and propane lights. Also a new solar system that provided quiet electricity so you dont have to listen to the generator.

There is an outhouse, and water must be brought from the lake. A true “roughing it” in comfort, Canadian experience!
