As a family owned and operated camp, we have watched our own families and those of our returning guests grow over the years.

Smith Camps is located 8 miles east of Kenora on Highway 17 East. From Highway 17 East, turn south on Storm Bay Road then take the first right at Branch Road 3 and follow the signs to camp. Drive safely on our beautiful winding drive. Watch for deer and other critters.

• Easily accessible by land, water, and air (Kenora Airport or float plane)
• We’re only 2.5 hours north of the border:
• Cross the international border at either Baudette, MN/Rainy River, ON or International Falls, MN/Fort Frances, ON.
• Head north on Highway 71 to Highway 17 (Trans Canada Highway).
• Turn west or left on Highway 17 for approximately 4 miles and then turn south onto Storm Bay Road.
• DO NOT take Highway 17A, it is the Kenora North Bypass.
• Turn right at the Smith Camps sign onto Branch Road 3.
• Follow Branch Road 3 right to our camp.

Warning: for some reason many guests are misled by GPS directions, so please be aware of that.
